Fight on Friday. Help Would Be Nice ;)

The only active things I've done this week are; Run on a Treadmill, go for a jog, hit the heavy bag, and go on an excersise bike. I have a fight against a decent(maybe) kid on Friday.

It's scheduled for 5, 1 minute rounds. 2 minutes in between rounds. This kid has more stamina than me, but I have him with power. Speed is up for grabs and technique is probably me, seeing as he said he has never watched a whole boxing match.

I figured that I would go for heavy punches to the stomache in ther first two round, and then go away at whatever he leaves open in the next 3.

I don't think the fight should be that hard, but any tips? I'm not too worried about the stamina because we have 2 minute breaks in between rounds. Any training tips/fight strategies/ or fight tips for me? Appreciated.

1 minute rounds with 2 mins rest? That would be nice!

            ATM galaxy USA.

We always do fights like that. Someones parents are going to be home, but being the vaginas we are, we don't want anyone to get seriously hurt. We figure 2 minutes rest is enough to make it alot safer for the fighters, while still keeping the competition alive.

That's....bad in because you can easily rely on only your power and stamina and conditioning wouldn't be used as much which is used a lot in pro's.

Im fighting an idiot. He thinks the break will help him, but it's really going to benefit me. I realize that the rule isn't very fair, but hey, I wanna win.

Given that 2 minute rest, if you have any sense of timing in the ring, I'd do this: Let him come to you for the first half of the round and throw whatever he wants, slip and duck and let himself get gassed. Then start coming with the heavy body blows and head shots if he starts letting his hands drop. Strategy for that kind of fight has to be to let HIM get the LEAST out of the break. If you defend well you should be sitting pretty.
