Few thoughts;
-Looks like something that would be very popular (everyone wants to know how hard they punch).
-Seems that it would only be good for straight punches. Would be nice if it were a cylinder or half-cylinder so that hooks could be measured.
-Punches go astray so I would be extremely cautious about what looks to be a metal framework coming around the side. Lawsuit in the making.
-Tracking results on a mobile device to share with the community (like Hysko does) would probably be a good feature.

You are right. Only straight punches are not enought for complex training. I am testing tilted (60�) punching pads for hooks and uppercuts. It still need a little work but I hope I will publish them all at once.

Metal framework is must for robust construction but punching area is from foam. Striking front area should be safe. Of course hand wrapping and gloves are recommended to minimize injury (same rules safety as for a regular boxing bag).

As a programmer I developed only one Android game year ago. I do not know anyone who will help me this way (programmer or graphic artist). Sharing results with community is great idea and maybe someone will use open API and create good looking mobile application with much more features.

I belive I can create mobile app and web site for saving scores etc. But it took time and without good graphic artis it will look awful. I am aware that lots of people not have smart phones and are not interested in internet at all. For this reason I want to have independent solution with display. Bluetooth communication is "extra". I know I will have to work on it - today it is a necessity.

Preparing a project for crowdfunding is challenging and it takes longer than I thought. I do everything myself because I have unpleasant experience in working with other people. I would like to publish it in July. I lack mainly equipment for quality photography, promotion video, hi-res graphics. I hope that the idea and the price will be enough for people and they will help me in the beginning.
