    Running with 0.5kg weights

Just wanted to share that I've been doing my morning runs with 0.5kg weight in each hand for a while now (maybe started almost a year ago) and that I think it's a nice way to get the arms and shoulders used to working with a bit of weight; 0.5kg is just about 18oz... Keeping the cadence uptempo but the pace quite light, doing a bit of combos, etc. whilst focussing on staying relaxed and loose. It's made a positive difference to handspeed and endurance and am gonna keep doing it. Only downside is that whenever someone sees my tiny weights, they laugh

Watch it, you can tear a bicep in a fight first time you throw a long jab.
I'd be sure to stretch out real good everyday, hang from a chin up bar with your arm fully stretched.

Good to hear man! I have some everlast wrist weights that I swear by, they wrap around the thumb and wrist nicely. Ive been using them on runs and jumping rope for about a year now, I have noticed that it works great for improving volume. One other little trick I like to do is to run with a resistance band around my upper chest and throw punches. This has helped improve speed and coordination.
