They are low on calories, got water, they fill you up due to the volume,
they are nutritious (vitamins, minerals, fiber,)
To name a few:
Brown rice, potato, lentils, beans, broccoli, spinach, kale etc

Plain ol popcorn nothing added to it, plain ass veggies with a squeeze of lime and chili.
Edit: Healthy diets require high protien, good clean carbs, and healthy fats. Slashing calories can and will help you drop down in weight but you will also be cutting natural energy. Chicken, fish, beef, turkey, canned tuna, eggs with a side of white/brown rice, every color of the rainbow potatoes, quinua, beans, oatmeal and the list goes on , google it.
