You're the one getting defensive pal. I couldn't give a **** about your experience and you should stop using it as a response. Give an actual answer. You could've worked in the sport 500 years, doesn't mean you know anything about it.

Where the **** was your gym, who did you work for and with. What gym did you fight out of what trainer trained you. You people need to ****in grow up!! Listen & learn, no I'm not always right no one is but my opion comes fro m experience where does yours come from watching TV?
I wouldn't turn this into a pissing contest; my e-penis is huuuuuuugeeeee.

It's not always about the power, it's also about getting hit with something that u don't see, and at that GGG is good cuz he feints, he mixes his shots up and down and he counterpunches while moving forward very well, he doesn't just lunge in with 1 2s, he's a sophisticated fighter and u can't beat him if u let him scheme on u like this, u either have to be an exceptionally quick slick fighter (like Lara) or a gritty strong inside fighter with a good chin, u can't give this guy time and space to get set on u.

pitbull .....thats very true however the one punch I'm speaking of doesn't need to be after the opponent has been worn down.
Did you see Pac get stopped by Juan? That was a perfectly placed shot off Manny making a huge mistake! Thats what I'm talking about. Juan made Manny pay for the double feint and falling all the way in behind nothing.

Nobody knows who the hell Ray Corso is. You make all these extravagant claims but for someone who has been in for "50 years" you sure have done a whole lot of jack ****. Even your claims can just as easily be lies to try and "solidify" your opinions.

Like I said earlier, instead of talking yourself up, ELABORATE on your opinions. Be constructive. As soon as someone questions your logic, instead of giving reason, you nearly always just say "because I know things... and stuff... experience".

          It's getting real boring.

I looked up Ray Corso and found this:

I'm pretty sure one time or another Ray said he was from Florida. Ray Corso is definitely not a common name.

He looks very sound technique wise....but I think it's because he's so accurate with his punches. You rarely see him trying to punch through guards or hitting arms....the majority of his punches seem to land flush on the target (ribs, head).

              ...and THIS.

I agree with you completely. Khan is also very accurate, was breaking up Garcia until shots came back. But he has confidence that he can take a shot, so he walks guys down, uses his accuracy, breaks them down, they may land solid ****s, but GGG, resets, and walks through them. Can't do that without a granite chin. He can focus on what he is doing or wants to do.

Khan, Mallinagi type guys, gotta think deeply about what their opponent is doing. GGG is a good strong fighter.

Thanks for your post my fellow boxing fan.

                Best regards,

                  You're welcome....

I think a lot of guys who seem to be able to take a punch have the ability to keep their chin tucked and locked in at all times (see Marvin Hagler). GGG does the same thing. I think it also allows you to see more punches coming, therefore your chances of getting hurt by unseen punches is lower.

Notice how fighters like Broner and Malignaggi tend to have their chins up a lot....and for some reason like to back straight back as defense, instead of tucking their chin and slipping punches on the way in. I really think if Broner had learned that he would be undefeated right now.

Thing is he gets great leverage so he doesn't have to swing for the fences. His balance and center gravity almost reminds me of stuff we did in wrestling. You just got to "feel" your power, where it comes from and how to leverage it.

I've often wondered this myself. When he fought Daniel Geale he managed to floor him whilst receiving a punch and going backwards. Unreal!

That fight actually made me research on how to find those power punches and I came up with this : martialarts-hq.com/how-to-punch-harder
