short,looping right?

I get confused by all the different terms I hear people using for the right hand.

I understand the basic ones such as straight right,overhand right,hook and uppercut.

But can someone explain short right and looping right and how they differ from the above..

Are these legitimate punches in their own right or just different names for overhands and right hooks..?
