    Best thing to hang a heavy bag up with?

    Today I broke 4 freaking ropes they shattered with a beutiful right hook.

    So far Ive tried the metal rail that came with the heavy bag that broke on the very first day at the welding joint.

    Then I hung the bag on a tree branch about 2.5 inches thick that broke too.

    Then I hung it up with a rope that lasted longer but broke.

    Then 2 ropes.

    Now I hang it with 4 ropes and it still breaks!!!

    Theres a real thick branch high up in the tree so what ever it is it has to be LONG. Dont think I can get that longer chain. And I wouldnt want a chain breaking on me!

    Its just like the rope eventualy frays and gets weaker and weaker till it just bursts.

    Solution please?

    It should have 4 rings attached to the bag and you use a chain to suspend a bag! Only chain!!! Ray

        It has the 4 rings and 4 chains with four hooks going to a central ring I then tie ropes around the central ring to the big overhanging tree branch which I have to climb up to get to.

        I cant find a chain that long!

            KK LOL i HOPE THE CHAIN DOSNT BREAK AND TAKE MY EYE OUT OR SOMETHING, A CHAIN THAT LONG IS GONNA BE WEAK ISNT IT?

              Get a thicker chain... don't go use the chain off your bicycle.

              No the god damn chain isn't going to break unless you're hanging a 15,000 LB heavybag for Optimus Prime.

                    dude if you broke a rope with a right hook then either you were using shytty twine rope or you can't tie a knot worth phuck

                    Get a bunch of chains and tie them together using a carabiner.
