Amatuer boxing is scored how many clean blows are landed over the whole fight not the round system like in proffesional boxing. The blow has to be completely cleanif it hits of a glove even slightly then no point is given.

Thanks guys. Not the first time I been robbed. The other kid is a good fighter as well but my trainer tells me I won clearly that night. I normally put a lot of pressure and try to hurt them to the body. We decided to box this kid and that's what happen. I'm 14, he is 16, not that it makes much of a difference.

you won that fight. that other dude needs to learn how to set things up with the jab. he just came in there throwing hooks and other power shots. thats not exactly the smartest thing to do.
