If you are in good shape at 66-67kg (eating healthy, running at least 3 times a week, in the gym at least 3 nights a week) I would recommend fighting in the 64kg division instead of 60kg. 6-7kg is probably too much to cut, i mean it depends on the individual, and some guys at the elite level do cut that much, but it shouldn't be necessary.

To get to 64kg, shouldn't be too hard.

    Eat oatmeal for breakfast

low fat yoghurt as a snack

a small piece of chicken breast or steak with steamed veggies for lunch

    oatmeal again before training

and then a low carbohydrate protein shake, maybe with some low fat yoghurt, after training.

As an amature, cut the weight naturally. Cutting alot of weight is for pro's, who have 24 hours to replenish their body. At best, you have a few hours.

do u know what cutting weight means or are u talking about losing weight?

losing weight is taking in your case 6-7kg of mass of your body, cutting weight is sweating it out before u step on the scales and then drink a bunch of water and step into the ring about the same weight u were before cutting.

if u want to lose weight get on a diet, boxing diets are all over the net and this forum.

cutting from 66kg to 60kg is way too much for an amateur, pros have like 32 hours to get water back in their system and u still hear about fighters getting dehydrated making smaller cuts than the one u would be attempting. and u as an amateur could have as little as 3 hours to rehydrate, its acctually dangerous in itself not even considering that u will be fighting someone in that state.
