    Constant fatigue and sluggishness

Anyone ever suffered from this? Maybe I could be overtraining and i've burned myself out? Any ideas what it could be i've been feeling like this for a few months now? Anyone had any experience with good tapers or needed to taper because of overtraining?

i've overtrained on occassion, and it has to be by far the most annoying thing ever

give yourself a weeks rest, then get back in the gym the next week, you'll still feel kind of sluggish and not as good as you were, but after 2-3 days of workingout, you'll be back easy

that's how it is for me anyway

did something change? new work schedule? new sleeping habit?

Could also be your diet, putting on weight can also do this

I remember when i first started to work full time, I noticed my energy levels changed. It took me a few months to adjust, but I dont think Ive gotten back to the same level since then, and its been years.

Nothing but i'm just feeling restless all the time .I've not even got a job just now I can sleep to anytime I want but I still struggle getting out my bed and just feel constant fatigue .I think it could be the intensity of my training and think it could be rest I need or it's lack of vitamins or something ,water.

Get a job. you just need something else to occupy your time as your probly just mentally over trained. just sitting around at home with nothing to do but think about training eventually you get bored and approach it with a lackadaisical attitude.

your not training to train any more your just doing it to occupy time and youve become bored and begun to resent it.

it does sound mental. At the very least, have an alarm set for the same time every morning and get the **** out of bed.

write a list of things you have to do that day and actually do them.

eat plenty of fruit and eggs and see if you feel better

Lots of rest, up your vitamin and fluid intake. As far as nutrition try using a lot of high protein and high carb foods cause your body uses protein to repair damaged tissue and carbs for energy. If it's really extreme try using a supplement called Glutamine, it's an amino acid that helps muscle recovery so it will help you avoid over training again.
