I'm no expert at boxing however I think slow jogging builds stamina. Isn't there meant to be aerobic (Slow, constant) energy and anaerobic (Fast explosive) energy. Jogging must raise your aerobic energy to last 10 rounds. Do your research because I may be a mile off. Marciano use to jog for a long time but I think people are proving high-intensity running is better or that its better to mix it up.
Do jogs twice a week or so to build an aerobic base and keep your weight in check
Do fartlek runs or sprints 2-3 additional times per week to improve fight fitness etc
Really, if you train at a boxing gym you should know this and your trainer should be telling you these things, my trainer takes us for a sprints session once per week and does other fitness with us at the gym
