    Training while sick?

Is it a good idea? I just got a cold, nothing overly major, but it does give me coughs and I have a constant stream of sniffles going as well. I don't think I'll be heading to the gym today, although if I miss today, I'll basically be missing 4 days of training straight (today, then Sat/Sun when I usually don't go, and Monday for Thanksgiving). Should I go regardless, or is it better to wait out the cold?

Just wait it out. No need to train.

try blowing your nose and if the sniffles stopped then you can train but if you still have the sniffles to not do bag or mitt work, just skip the rope, and shadow box, when you no longer have the sniffles then you can train all out again, but if your sniffles get in your way then there is no need to train with the sniffles

Also. breathing out your nose is impossible when its stuffed. Making it pretty difficult to do anything.

If you are sick and still want to train do it by yourself. Please don't come to the gym and spread your germs around. Thanks.

you need to rest! your body enters higher level of stress because it has to recover from your sickness and intense workouts, putting your body at a catabolic state and will increase the time that you are sick. only train when you at or close to 100%
