Yep I run up the hill from my place to Itchimbia park which is 2910meters (9600 feet) above sea level. its a great but short intense workout. Theres some really steep stairs going up to the top if I really want to hit it.

short and intense workouts....what do they do? I've been thinking of doing this.

        hill running of course.

Put it this way after 5-10 minutes running at speed you feel like your heart is ready to explode. Amateur boxing is 3 by 3 minutes.

            I see...thx.

I thought running, jogging 3-5 miles a day was the best. Guess hill running doesn't hurt, I need to get my stamina up, more in sparring so.

                thx,

this is some good stuff. I'm going to focus on this from now on. You think it's ok if I do a mix of both on different days?

It would probably be more ideal to switch it up often.

last time i was in quito, ecuador i decided to sprint up one of the many steep hills. When i got to the top i was dead. I got altitude sickness for a day or two.
