    Bag video

Started going to a gym stoped after my second class when i realized they were charging me 75$ month for 55 mins of pushups jump squats and sit ups with 5 mins of how to jab from an instructor that shows up 15 mins late regulary or atleast the 2 times i went he was late.

dont go to hatfeild MMA/ boxing gym its its a giant rip off and all they care about is money and being *******'s to their students.

I work night shift 11pm-7am and not only is there nothing closer then 40 mins away other then the place i was going nothing seems to open before 5 and i go to bed at 3. So for about 2 months now as training ive been recording my self every time im on the bag watching it and trying to improve i do about 3 sets of 3 rounds inbeteen each set i watch what i did and try to improve. the video above was my last set yesterday.

im currently working on keeping my right up next to my cheek and once i get that down im going to go for keeping my chin tucked.

    opinions advice?

    STOP!

u will only create bad habits, u need a trainer. when u know the basics u can train by yourself and improve by shadowboxing hitting the bag etc. but right now u will only create bad habits.

find a gym asap, if u want to train in the meantime. run, situps etc. but dont do nothing boxing specific.

there has to be some gym u can train at, i take two busses to train myself.

Assassin thanks but what bad habits am i forming?

this would probably be more so the reason to post the video. I know some basics hands up, chin tucked, elbows tight, try to stay in a line with the bag slipping and side stepping. but everyone tells me im going to form bad habits if i dont have a trainer but i would like to know what bad habits im doing so that i can watch for it in fruther videos since i record all my bag work.

i mean there is no gym that i can go to within 50+ miles that has operating times that work for me being that i go to bed at 2-3 pm and wake up for work at 10:30. 2 both about 40 mins away only teach kids under 18. another gym about hour and half away opens at 3:00. ive called just about every gym in the city (hour to 1hour and a half away) 2 of them opened around 5 the rest didnt answer or reply to the messages left on their machines.

Instead of working on making sure i dont preform my bad habits i just pinpoint one basic at a time to work on and untill im comfortable with that i dont move on. so far its only been getting my jab better which im comfortable with and now keeping my right up next to my face which ive gotten alittle better with next its keeping my chin tucked and staying in line with the bag and not squaring off to much.

Thanks for the compliments i feel ive gotten better since my last videos but they were from before i even tried boxing class, or started recording and critiquing my bag work.

I dont plan on fighting any one for real for atleast a year but at some point i would really like to fight people and i would like to win because of me not some ******ed trainer that teaches boxing like any one that does boxing wants to do mma

It wasn't bad at all, much better than I see locally. There was some really nice moves and good combination punching.

yea i think it was very good 4 sumone who hasnt really had any instruction at all.. but with out instuction or proper knowledge u WILL set urslf in bad habits... wen u hit the bag focus on techinque and form. u look like u already hav good punching power so make that secondary 4 a while...

Yeah form is second thought im more so trying to box some one like the bag was an actual person trying for a very broken rythm.

what kind of things should i try to do form wise? right now keeping my right up next to my cheek but would you say keeping inline with the bag would be more important? or is it more about doing certain combos that are allready planed out whiel working on keeping my hands up and inline with the bag? so maybe i should just start with planned combos and once i get them down work on doing them with my hands up and inline with the bag?
