    Facing an undefeated fighter

Today I met a fighter that used to fight for my gym that ive been hearing alot of hype about. He just got out of prison and wants to go back to the gym. As soon as I was introduced to him he asked me questions like how much I weigh and how many fights i have and whens the next time i will be in the gym. I answered and he turned around to another person and said that yea im gonna stop this guy and get him out of there! Now at this point i started laughing trying not to loose my cool and just start hitting this guy right there. his record is 19-0 as an amateur and I am 6-1. hes about 5'8(an inch shorter than me) and weighs 145. He called me from his friends phone earlier and called me out and he wanted to box tomorrow and due to my plans I told him monday is good.

This is the type of **** that pisses me off in boxing^^^^
All I did was introduce myself and this guy takes things to another planet. I asked around and no one really gave me a straight up answer when I asked what he fights like. I am just sitting here aggrivated at this whole thing and Cant wait till monday even tho I dont know what to expect. Share your thoughts

if your confident in your skill put the little douche bag in his place. jab with a vengeance. make him scared to step forward. keep smashing that jab in his face and when you think you punished him enough load up that 2 and throw it in after the jab. jab jab jab jab! had enough? jab STRAIGHT KNOCKOUT. make this guy want to go back to jail for acting like a douche bag. no respect at all. if this guy really just got out of jail then if you punish him for a round in a half or even just 1 round with the jab he'll gas like nothing. good luck bro.

I would save your fighting to official bouts, he can go to a tournament if he wants to fight you. If he wants to spar then tell him to talk to your coach. Then he can train like everyone else and if your coach allows the sparring then great. I wouldn´t waste time or energy worrying about this guy, get on with your own thing.

if hes 19-0, even after a long layoff, he will be confident as hell in his abilities etc

assert yourself straight away, be aggressive first up and you will damage that confidence a little, then just stay on him and keep that aggression up, if hes been in jail for a while not boxing his cardio wont be great (unless he trained while he was inside, you can box in some prisons cant you?) and you will just wear him out and steamroll him as he gases, but if hes a 19-0 amateur hes obviously a pretty damn good fighter, ytou just gotta assert yourself and make him question that confidence of his

All good advice, but I would say this one is the best... just ignore him, *******s like this will get no respect later on in life... even though the first thought that came to my mind was I hop you KO him inside a round... prick. Just be cautious and keep your composure, he will be a good fighter if he has that record so fight both smart and ferociously (that's if you fight).

All I know is don't leave us hanging. Update us asap man. This is intresting. But I would give you the slite andvantage being that your in the gym and in shape and that he hasn't sparred in a while. Just don't underestimate too much. 19-0, be carefull man.
