Yep , just happened to me though I managed to get some good shots in as well, but mine was an exhibition more than sparring. It takes a while to get your instinct for timing and distance back (I hadnt done any real sparring or fighting in 8 years and got matched with the regional champ) But it teaches you fast how to get back into form, sparring weaker opponents doesnt help much. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger as the saying goes.
