    Any Secrets...

    anyone have unusual things they do in training that seem to help alot. I know for myself when i hit a heavy bag i visualize a person instead of the bag which helps me alot. Like cutting off movements and visualize punches being thrown at me.

    And also i need a tip from someone on how to wake myself up in the morning run... just about every morning i just roll over and turn off my alarm and end up not running at all the day

    I don't really have any secrets, I usually find a point on the bag which is roughly head height and generally aim for that. For example on a lot of bags they tend to have the maker's crest around about this height. Other than that, I jab alot and practice combinations.

      i tried that running in the morning thing and i just couldn't do it, so instead i run at night.

        its just impossible for me to get in a running routine in general its killing me

          Put your alarm clock as far away from your bed as possible. That way you actually have to get up and walk across the room to turn it off, so you can't just roll over and hit the button and go back to sleep.

            I mean the truth is whether ur alarm clock is close at arms reach or a few feet away if u arent motivated enough to go run ur just gonna lay down regardless of where the alarm clock is. You gotta find a goal and strive towards it. I look at it like how many AM boxers are up running at this time? I wanna be one of the few or one of the many. I dont wanna be the one slacking. Just gotta find that motivation inside u.

              youd be amazed at what more sleep can do. the difference in energy and motivation is crazy.

              you might try some stuff to help you rest better when you sleep like zma and melatonin.

              trust me, you will be much more willing to run if you feel fresh when you wake up.
