    New Years Resolutions

I know its a little bit early but I'm curious to see how many people do these & what goals you're setting for yourselves.

I'm going to force myself to run at least 2 miles everyday, & stick to a good diet.

Yes...well I PLAN on sticking to my resolution... I really have to write my goal(s) down on paper otherwise I tend to forget.

My New Years resolution is to get back in shape (Im not fat...but I haven't done any real training for the past month, so I want to get my cardio back).

Quit my MMA gym (already have) and train at a real boxing gym (already found one)

Lastly, I'm going to try to get my first ammy fight by 09'... As long as I have a goal....I definitely seem more motivated and determined to accomplish that goal(s)

A New Years resolution is how I started boxing in the first place.
I was 89kg very unfit never trained in my life.
I decided that boxing training would get me fit, so I made a new years resolution that I would go for it. It's now almost 2 years later I am 68kg very very fit, and I train boxers down the gym. Life could not get better.

A new year is a good time to make new resolutions, and if you have broken them already think about it this way. I have used the New Year to make sure I no longer take my phenomenal talent for granted and keep up the 7 mile per day regime. I know 5 or 6 is enough and I will still be the man, but it is best to best one can be, even if you are already destined to be the best! YNWA!

2009 can be the year when you fulfill ya dreams.

i have stuck to mine so far. Mine was dont drink for 40 days, tough in college, and im 15 days in. Lose 16lbs to drop from 181 to fight in 165's. and win regional golden gloves, in process. Making goals is a great way to work on self-control and a new level of dedication.

I'm really trying to drop about 15lbs and cut up. I just graduated and can't find a job, although I am actively looking, in the meantime I'm going to dedicate myself to getting fit.
