Is there a way to jog/run incorrectly

My bones in my feet hurt after always jogging/running, they hurt for a couple of days not just hours. Is this normal? Am I jogging incorrectly or something?

Just walk, get some good miles on your feet, then see if you have foot pain still.

Your weight can be a big factor.

try making sure your shoes fit nice. you can get deformed feet if your shoes are too small.

i'd reccomend going to an outlet specifically for running shoes with trained professionals, getting some new shoes and talking to them about proper stride and posture.

Hey, what's up. If you have pain in your feet in can be one of two things. First of all being you need some good running shoes that fit you properly. Second of all technique. People run and jog for the hell of it without proper technique. My friend is real close to a professional runner/trainer of college football teams. He is very well known for his technique and has quite a couple of championship rings on his hand. He gave me and my friend massive pointers on proper running/sprint drills. Two things he taught us that people do wrong ALL the time is that they either run on the ball of the foot or they run on the heel of the foot. He said these two things can destroy your feet and more importantly your knees! He taught us the proper stride is to imagine that you're landing on the MIDDLE of your foot. A tip he gave us is that while your trying to execute this technique you should try and make as little sound as possible when you run. The closer you are to making little sound when you run the more professional your stride. Oh, and of course posture. You're back must be straight. Another thing that I just remembered is what type of foot do you have? People who have flat feet are prone to extreme pain when running. Either way, Good luck with this bit of advice. I thought I was doing it well on my own until I received advice from a professional. After using proper technique and form when I ran 3 miles before now I could only run 1 1/2 mile due to the massive pump now felt in my quads and calves from proper technique and even though I've lasted for less time my speed improved vastly!!. Now I can run/sprint for the same 3 miles with proper technique and I cut my time I used to run before in almost half! Good luck bro.

I had the same problem, I wasn't extending my right foot enough causing me shin splints. Tape yourself running and correct your faults, it's the best way. People wont be able to correct your technique over a forum

I've already talked about my leg/feet problems on here but the thing that stands out in your post is that you talk about the 'bones' in your feet. I was the same and my soles used to creak and get knots and stuff in them. This went away as soon as I got orthodics, not just specialised running shoes.
