    Agression

I feel weird talking about this, but i think its the right place to.
Im generally a fairly mild person (with agressive tendencies). recently i have been having rages so strong that i dont remember them properly afterwards, and i normally end up breaking something. i have now broken a computer mouse, a keyboard, my desk light and my old phone. theyre normally over something ****** involving friends (on msn) or family arguments. i think its also egged on by my claustrophobia in my small room. do any of you guys have agression and how has boxing effected it? cos im now venting more rather than keeping it bottled up

sorry if i sound weird of ****ed up

check this out man, try and take note of when you FEEL that way. Yeah I know, easier said than done. But the point I'm trying to make is that I have learned about myself that my Testosterone level is at it's peak at 19:30 (7:30pm) and THAT is when I'm at the gym! It's like that 'ol saying..."The world throws you lemons....make lemonade"!

Dude, once you have learned to harness those emotions, then, and only then, can you use it towards your advantage. If you let it consume you, bad things will happen, things that feel good at the moment, but you will later regret when the smoke clears. Now if what I've said has no bearing, and you feel that way all the time...what you're doing is turning anger-inside-out, which is fear. There is something that needs your direct confrontation or it will not go away. Be ********ic about it, and seek a non violent solution. Best of luck to ya. Always remember, no matter how bad you think you got it...somebody's got it worse.

            yeah i know.
when i was younger i was the sort of kid who would get upset over nothing
and now i cant remember the last time i got emotionally upset.
youre right, i should harness it. i did some skipping this afternoon when i almost lost it, and it felt good.
i just need to catch it in time.
sorry if this makes me sound like some weirdass psycho
ill try and see if i have a certain time of the day for anger lol

Don't feel alone here man, I have a really bad temper, alot of people attribute it to my Irish roots. However, when I get into arguements with parents, family, etc. it usually turns into an all out brawl because I just go nuts, and really regret it later, I just start punching ****, holes in walls, i broke a shelf on a new dresser, I just lose my mind. When I get into arguements it almost always ends in fists being thrown. Boxing has not really helped me, but it's been an outlet, I go out and concentrate on getting a good workout on the bag listening to some music and by the time I'm done I feel better, but having a bad temper taught me how to fight, it's a blessing in disguise.

You both need to just grow up. Their is no excuse or medical reasoning for these types of behaviors. I too have a pretty good temper but have realized that breaking my **** does not help anything. Learn to control it...

Since I've come home from the Army i've been handling things alot better, however I'm just a mean spirited individual, nothing less or more.
