bag gloves and training gloves. did a search

okay okay. well i did a search. and tried finding some answers. but there are many different answers and it's still a very confusing question.

    whats the difference?!
training gloves costs more than bag gloves.
i've noticed that some sites have more sizes for training gloves from 10-20 and the bag gloves are lighter.. like 10-12oz.

for example the pro everlast bag glove is only 10 - 12 and training is 14-20.

i did hear that bag gloves have less padding. but some people still spar with 14 oz bag gloves, (not many. ringside imf tech)

whats the difference between sparring with 14 oz bag gloves and 14 oz training gloves if you were to spar with 14 oz.

    ----- edit---

after asking these questions. i thought about it and i guess why peopel say spar with 16 oz training gloves is because bag gloves don't go up that high?

    yehppppppp i searched. =P i tried.

bag gloves are done to make sure you close your fists on hitting, and to place your punches correctly, because of that they use to have less hand protection.
Training gloves are used for sparring because they are made with more hand protection and weight so you can protect your hands more and protect also your opponent from punches, because in this case, he will be a gym partner...and you are there for training.
I use training gloves also for padding and for the double end bag because, as they weight more than the bag ones , they day of the fight your hands will be so light: if u are training with 14 Oz and u fight with 10 oz, what do u think? if u have done shadowboxing with weights and later without them, you will know what im talking about

so bag gloves is just to teach you how to hit correctly? if you don't then you'll feel it more so you know that you're not hitting correctly?

but would sparring with a 14 oz bag glove be similar to the 14 oz training then?

if u havent used the bag gloves on the bag...yes! but if u have been using them with the bag ill recommend not to use them in sparring because your partner would get cut easier because the glove, once you hit the bag with them , they will become "harder" i really dont know how to explain...finally dont use your bag gloves on sparring

Depends what you get. Its good to get two pairs of gloves tho because bag n pad work start to wear down your gloves and it isnt very curtious to spar with warn out gloves. I have a 16oz pair of Everlast Pro's for bag n pad work and 16oz pair of Ringside safety gloves for sparring
