Best $50 I've spent in a long time.......

I'm sure a bunch may have one, but if not it is a great purchase....

It says $70 but I got the exact same one for $50 in Rite Aide.

Awesome. I picked it up a few months ago and it has done nothing but help me get my cardio to a whole new level, I use the heart rate to measure my roadwork rather than distance or time.

What I do is map out an interval program to do for two weeks..... with a target heart rate.

i.e. 3 minute intervals with one minute rest periods. maintaining your target heart rate for the three minutes, and your active resting rate for one minute, for as many intervals as you designed into your program.

I like to increase heart rate, while reducing the active interval, and rest periods so as I move through the program i am shortening my rest periods while increasing intensity and shortening the time on my work periods.

To make it harder simply increase the your target heartrate.

Anyone else use monitor regularly and have any interval or programs to share?

*note* you can find your target heart rates here... see link below.... but pretty much just there to give you a reference place to start.
