ahhh potatoes and sadler youre both kinda right.... but first of all floyd is a freak he has second to none skills and he could take on heavyweights and come out clean

in sparring i take on guys who are 25 kgs heavier but a bit less skilled so i hold my own...but when the skills are at the same level then weight becomes an advantage yes....if i had a choice between a guy 10 lbs heavier and a guy my own size, i would fight the guy my size, so you made the right choice and are fighting the guy your size. but if you are a good counterpuncher with fast hands and reflexes you can sometimes fight heavier guys, but if you are inexperienced and as light as yourself or me (100 lbs) its best to not **** around with weight, you can get hurt

    so its a 50/50 issue i guess

People with more mass behind them hit harder, its called physics.
if you want to get into physics, then u would also know that velocity will have an influence on the total external force.

fight some people that are like 5lbs lighter than u. that way you have a better chance at winning and if you win it will give you a boost of confidence.
