Do boxers really get Physiques like this just from training to box?

Is this true come on now how do they look like that without useing weight lifting? My trainer said he does not have any of his guys train with weights and they are all in tip top shape. Is the kind of muscel I wil develop from boxing different then what you get in weight lifting or something? Will I gain strenth and muscle boxinglike my trainer. Look at this guy. I can get like this boxing? Do these guys actuwally get like this fro just their training?
I thouht you can only look like that if you lift weights.

    yeah its extremly plausible.

Maybe do some light weights, many reps.

Most people boxing train with hundreds of sits ups, crunches, press ups etc... you'll get that 6 pack. You'll get the rest of the outstanding muscles by eliminating body fat.

    It'll just happen.

Ask Da1catas tho.. he's pretty body focussed.

well they do alot of pushups and pullups and bodyweight squats, handstand pushups, etc. and that is still resistance. jus cuz weights arent involved, doesnt mean they arent adding resistance to their workouts. but yea that is the kind of body u get from hours and hours and hours of training and eatin right. i myself used to think weights were the devil for boxing, but that was before i understood fully sets and reps and hypertrophy and all that good stuff about weight lifting. theres alot of info on weight lifting without getting big and bulky and slow, so do some research...

That's wrong if you wanna build up any sort of muscle.

Light weight/many reps combo is nothing but a myth.

If you wanna build up you got to work with a good weight and do the hyperthaphy zone amount of reps(6-12) and whats more important, have the right diet.

And don't worry about getting sluggish, if you do right stretching and your weight lifting program is correctly incorporated into the boxing program you would be fine.

well check this out this is my diet that ive been on

I already have been weight lifting for 4 moths now still dont have the body i want i usta be an endurance atlete thats why i wanted to stop weight lfting but now ppl are saying if i want taht msucle i gotta eat how im eating and lift every day do ireally haft to eat like that come on now man cant is just eat like this look here

                Fruits
                Chicken
                Turkey
                Fish
                Vegetables
                Water

That is pretty much what my new diet menu would consists of....no beverages EXCEPT water. Eat your fruits in the morning preferably not in the evening at all due to the sugar content. Go with LEAN cut meats no red meat either just white (turkey/chicken/fish).

Gorge on vegetables...In my lunches, Ill have a salad however I will pack together a green pepper and some baby carrots as a snack.

Just keep it clean, no processed foods...If it is in a bag throw it out...Make it all NATURAL. White meats/vegetables/fruits...And PLENTY of water...Drink about 8 servings of water a day (about 16.9oz to 20oz)

I also incorporate whey protein in my diet....NO MILK!

That is really about it, A lot of people have their own ways of eating, some will say eat potatos and bread. However I cannot it makes me slow and sluggish....so does oatmeal and brown rice sweet potato good though

LOL, "if it is in a bag throw it out" - Do you pick your whey protein from a tree in the back yard?

"NO MILK!" - Do you realize where whey protein comes from?

Other than those two glaring inconsistencies, your advice is pretty sound.

i'm no nutrition expert, but it seems like ur fat ratio compared to ur carbs and protein is REALLY low. i dono if ur tryin to be a boxer or jus a weight lifter, but if u wanna train for real like a fighter does, up the carbs and up the fats a little, and u dont need near 300g of protein a day, thats ridiculous, ur eating twice as much protein as u have to. 1g per pound will be more than enough...unless ur tryin to bulk up...
