(Heavyweights) on 7+ mile runs do you carry water with you?

today i jogged 7.19mi for the first time.

I brought like 1/4th full of a small water bottle with me just in my pocket and took tiny sips per 1.5 mile or so. Helped out alot.

whats killin me though, is this goddamn rash on my ass from all that running.

what pace were you doing it at, I usually sip water for an hour before my run so I'm fully hydrated by the time I start my run

Lol might sound gay but put some vasline on that ass.

I got quite chunky legs and i allways chuck the stuff on my legs when on a long run cause of the friction over time.

Thats good work bro! 5 is my maximum, but I usually do an average of 3.5 miles 4 -5 times a week. Also started getting some sprints in there.

How did your calves hold out?

There is a product that runners use that will solve this. Its called Body Glide. It goes on like a stick deodorant and it stops chaffing. You can use it anywhere on your body and it isn't sticky or messy.

You can get it at a runner’s store like Fleet Feet or pretty much any major sporting goods store. It really is a great product.

took me a tad over an hour to finish, so a not-so-fast pace.

and I just know alot of fighters who have died via collapsing while running so I just carry water with me so I don't have to bust up into the nearest conveinence stores, dripping with sweat and panting, looking for a faucet and get the customers talking.

Do this sooner rather than later actually, cause if you leave it your rash could end up getting pretty painful/annoying
