    If a guy punches his weight..

    I read that if a guy whos 9 stone (about 127 lbs) punches his weight, he can knock out someone whos 18 stone (about 256lbs ) It wasnt a proven thing or anything. Do you think this is true

    I know this old guy in his 60's who isn't too big, probably a featherweight. He knocked out this this huge biker, probably a foot taller and 100 pounds heavier, in a Salvation Army thrift store. Some men have a lot of power in their fists, he happens to be one of them. Incidently, the police actually arrested him and charged him with assult!

          of course. any man could knockout another if the shot is right. especially if you're talking average people.

            i knocked out a few heavyweights or badly hurt them while weighing like 155lbs a year ago and they were like 205, 210. just gotta put that weight on it

              possible ofcourse if you also count the strength of his lower and upper body plus the coordination.
              specially if he caught an opp. rushing(counter)
              there was an explanations on it on fightscience by ngc iirc.
              it explains the detail of how a boxer punch.

                Anyone can be knocked out. Big or little it makes no difference.

                  The famous story about Kostya Tszyu being four or something like that and punching his father while play fighting and broke his father's jaw.

                    Its called weight transfer... and if you do it right you create knockouts.

                    This is the basis of all boxing training.
