Which 135 fighter would have the best chance to beat Pacquiao at 147?

Ryan Garcia wants the fight but he was trying to get it to happen at 143.

Loma wanted it years ago, but he wanted it to happen at 140.

Tank called out Pacquiao after Pac beat Broner.

Teo and Haney haven't called out Pac as far as I know.

Since it doesn't look like Pacquiao-Garcia is happening, what would happen if one of the other Lightweights try to move in to get the payday by challenging Pac at 147?

Which Lightweight has the best chance of beating Pac at 147? Loma, Tank, Teo, Haney, or Ryan Garcia?

At Pacs age any fight could be his last. Id bet on all those youngsters to beat Manny only because the odds would be too good.

      None of them.

      Absolutely none of them.

Teo might have the best shot but he’ll get dropped faster than Thurman and then lose via TKO.

None of those boys are taking manny’s punches for 12 rounds straight.

Assuming the fights were happening right now, and assuming that Manny is at the level he displayed against Keith Thurman in July, 2019:

Loma is too small, which is why he was never willing to entertain a Pacquiao fight at 140.

Tank is also too small. He is explosive but I could see Manny piling up points while Tank looks to get inside to land one big shot.

Teo will probably end up at 147 within the next few years so size wouldn't be an issue for him. Manny is a master boxer but he would have to be extremely careful. I think this is a chess match that could go either way.

Devin Haney would be difficult because of his range and desire to pile up points vs. doing heavy damage. I could see Manny getting frustrated in this one.

Ryan Garcia would look to land a counter left hook as Manny dips down to shoot his southpaw straight left. Pacquiao probably knows that so I see another tense chess match.

In summary, I think Devin Haney would be the toughest matchup for Pacquiao out of the guys you mentioned. Not because the other guys can't win but because Haney is the only one who wouldn't be trying to score a one-punch knockout.

Pacquiao said that Thurman was one of the hardest punchers he faced, so taking a 2 year lay off after that fight and trying to come back at 42 could be tough.

Remember, Cotto was able to stop Sergio Martinez and then go 12 rounds with Canelo, only to come back and lose to Sadam Ali, who had already gotten stopped by Jessie Vargas.

Pacquiao's win over Thurman was probably his last great performance. I think that's why he's trying to make all these media circus fights like Mayweather. Why fight Bud & Spence when he can make much more fighting McGregor & Ryan Garcia in much easier fights.

But I think Pac could overlook these young hungry guys who could steal a win like Horn did.

None of them. Manny has too much speed and too much power. It would be over quickly for all 4.

In 2009, most definitely but Manny can't take anything for granted at this point.

Probably no lightweight can beat him. Lopez has the best chance since his is a very big hard hitting lightweight who is probably moving to 140 soon. Loma is more of a natural featherweight and would gain nothing by fighting heavier and neither would Tank. Lopez seems to be the biggest, best and hardest punching lightweight. Tank hits very hard but he is not a big lightweigh and just fought at 130.

Lopez has a potential to be a good ww in the future. But not now.
