Al Haymon Offered Canelo a Three Fight Deal for $75 Million

After Canelo’s lawsuit was settled, Al Haymon entered the sweepstakes, offering Canelo a three-fight deal for $75 million. The first fight would have been against Caleb Plant. One of the next two opponents would have been Jermall Charlo at a 166-pound catchweight. Alvarez said he’d fight Plant for $25 million but didn’t want to commit to three fights at those numbers.

So the first two fights would have been against Plant/Charlo. Good for Canelo for not wanting to sign a three fight deal and he wouldn't have been able to fight in 2020 with the PBC as they couldn't put on a PPV on December 19.

And no need for a catchweight fight against Charlo. Just make it at 168. Canelo dictates if he wants a catchweight or not against Charlo, not the other way around.

But I'm sure this offer or a similar offer will be on the table in 2021. Canelo has a lot of options.

What site so I can read this.

I would think Canelo could earn more than that as a free agent.

Al Haymon really makes me laugh sometimes. Jermall Charlo dictating a catchweight to Canelo Alvarez. Jesus Christ.

Offered Canelo $25m a fight. But people somewhat believe this man paid Wilder over $50m to fight Ortiz and Fury.

          Interesting.

Canelo is in the driver's seat.

Let Haymon, Arum, and DAZN compete for his services.

plus 20 mil for dom breezy...forbes had wilder making like 70.5 mil in the last two years...i know it hurts to hear it....and the haters dont wanna believe it

was just like you same mutts that said "whered he get 50 mil for AJ ...its not real i dont believe it"...even hearn said it...till hearn said it was real

25mil a fight for canelo isnt bad .....that DAZN deal wasnt real....it was inflated with potential numbers...and it came that canelo was still offered a deal by haymon(which means that DAZN deal didnt last either).... even if hes still working with DAZN that ole deal was torn up

50M total for both fights or 50M each against Ortiz and Fury. Because if people actually believe the latter.............

Absolutely. No reason to sign a three fight deal with anyone. At most he should do two fight deals, if that. No one is going to turn down Canelo. Be the ultimate free agent and shot caller and get any fight he wants.

Good Offer but Canelo can always come back to it after bouncing around a bit on DAZN, maybe even on ESPN then comeback to this deal

If you're Fox, Showtime, you go all in as well and push for Haymon to get it done even if he has to pay a little more
