So he didn’t want dayzin to be n charge of his career, doesn’t like Hearn, advised against it by both Haymon and Finkel an Ashke****, and somehow this is “playing the race card?”
Indefensible.....
That's a sad reality huh. There is no best fighting the best anymore. Everyone is afraid to take a loss but it's more about taking the risk that's important to fans IMO nobody cares if a fighter has a loss or shouldn't anyway. ATG fighters all have losses for the most part.
You're partially right but maybe if the fans/trolls didn't automatically call a boxer who loses a fight a bum who was never any good, you would see more competitive matchups. An undefeated boxer loses his 0 and the casual fans, which is a surprisingly large amount of viewers, stop watching that boxer. The majority of modern fans started watching boxing in the Mayweather era and are brainwashed into thinking all that matters is an undefeated record.
All roads lead to Mike Tyson. Mike calls the shots. Holyfield is on the outside looking and has to accept Mike's terms.
What terms? If this happens, it's not a high level, legitimate fight that is for a world title or ranking or anything. It's an exhibition between two old champs for charity. I would expect the "terms" would be the same as the exhibition with Roy.

Fans chit on any fighter that loses. I don't agree with it but it's the truth.
Exactly. A lot of people on here are hypocrites. They whine because we don't get the best fighting the best all the time but the minute someone loses an undefeated record, they are the first to call them trash. It's pathetic.

That's a fact as a fan I actually enjoy seeing a fighter take the loss because the comeback is that much more intriguing honestly. The people that rely on the guy with no losses aren't boxing fans they are fighters fanboys IMO
$25m! Whaaaat? That's totally ridiculous. He can't really want to fight an exhibition if he's truly asking for that kind of money. Do you have a source for that info?
I don't like the way this is starting to turn... Big George saying Mike needs 3 more tune-ups before contending for a title? Douglas saying he wants to get in there? Now Evander is in ass kicking mode?? We don't need to see these old guys love them or not to get our boxing fix.
But who the **ck am I right? They can do whatever the hell they want.
I'm all for em making money. Put a cautious ref in there, big gloves, mandate standing 8's, whatever. I guess they'd be fine..
