Abs the thing is the public wants boxing to be the weekend party shin dig....even the non fans the casuals want larger than life personalities to fight each other. The Mayweather-PAC and Mayweather-McGregor showed that.

I could not agree more. I always say that Mayweather, as great as he was and as much as I enjoyed seeing him fight, really hurt the sport with his blueprint of being undefeated and that being his selling point. It’s not his fault but fighters abs promoters want to map careers based on that blueprint when the fighters don’t have that level of talent....his talent was literally generational possibly even multi-generational. Take Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler....all great fighters, legendary fighters....and they all lost...more than once, even by knockouts and stoppages more than once...and it’s because of the wars and the ability to come back and win big fights that they are remembered as the 4 Horsemen

What upsets me is when a fighter like Crawford knows that all the top competition in his weight class fight on a different network, and chooses to extend his contract, knowing that he won't face his competition, then *****es about not getting fights! I do **** on promoters when they can't make in-house fights, i.e. Andrade can't get fights, LSC vs. GRJ never happened, Prograis vs. Ramirez never happened, Loma vs. Berchelt never happened, Benavidez vs. Plant is overdue, etc.!
To Pick on your point about Crawford, that was exactly my thought when he renwed his contract with arum.... but then i saw the purses... amir khan boxes crawford and gets $5mil as a opponent of crawford... so id say Crawford would have been gettin paid arwn the $7mil based on that...
Spence v Porter was a showtime ppv and a unification...
Spence and porter guaranteed purses were $2mil... (excl % ppv)
Less then half of what khan got... so from my perspective Crawford was offered a deal that was too good compared PBC.... so it may have very well have been a no brainer for Crawford knowing fully well Arum aint got non of the tops dogs at ww and yet them purses are seriously good fightin mediocre oppoents. So for him to get lured in to them big fights he wants big money... big risk big rewards... 8 figures. Who gonna cough up that kinda money to see crawford

Evander, I respect u for all you accomplishments, but why would u wanna fight Mike again, when u already beat him twice? Why do u think u or Mike need a 3rd fight for your legacies? Why don't you call out James Toney for a rematch? If anything, u need that fight for your legacy a lot more than you need Mike. Toney whipped your ass

If they ever do battle again, it must be a real prizefight, no exhibition, over eight rounds of three minutes each. That would be good.
