Comments Thread For: Gennadiy Golovkin-Kamil Szeremeta Fight Finally Set For December 18

Gennadiy Golovkin finally has a date for his mandatory middleweight title defense against Kamil Szeremeta. Matchroom Boxing, Golovkin's co-promoter, and Golovkin's promotional company announced Friday that Golovkin-Szeremeta has been scheduled for December 18. DAZN delayed adding Golovkin's fight versus Szeremeta to its streaming schedule for a few months, but the 38-year-old Golovkin now knows when he'll make a mandated defense of the IBF middleweight title he regained by edging Ukraine's Sergiy Derevyanchenko in October 2019 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

GGG vs Charlo would be a great fight. Too bad that’ll never happen unless ggg goes to Pbc.

Charlo vs canelo is a possibility now with canelo as a free agent.

I have absolutely no interest in Andrade fighting anyone. Too boring of a fighter. Andrade is the Crawford of middle weight.

Szeremeta is a consensus top 8 guy:
                  TBRB: #7
                  The Ring: #6
                  WBC: #4
                  WBA: N/A
                  IBF: #3 (#1 and #2 currently vacant)
                  WBO: #8

He was gonna get his title shot soon regardless. Might as well get it now.

Why is DAZN paying 4 this bs?

This is so lame, they have GGG take the easiest fights and he wants Canelo after foh. Fight someone with a pulse. Who the **** is this du? No punching power nothing. And you ****ing bozos here praise this bs? Go fight Andrade, someone with a pulse instead of this ****ing bs!
