Here is what Arum said “the promoter” about Crawford which is more reason that Bud needs to get away from Top Rank. Top Rank & ESPN did almost nothing to promote this fight with Brook, despite that, Bud still drew good numbers without a strong dance partner.
Arum to Athletic Box, “he’s got to promote like Lopez does, Shakur does, like Mayweather did, Pacquiao did. If he doesn’t, then who the f...needs him? He may be the greatest fighter in the world, but hey, I ain’t going bankrupt promoting him.”

Just anecdotal but a few people I talked to were turned off by the headbutt nonsense in the fight before.
Heard that it seems boxing hasn’t changed and you still get the wrong calls.
2 million viewers on ESPN isn’t a great number. Not PPV and people are by and large staying home.
Guy is not a draw and at this point in his career he’s the B side to the big fights he wants.
