If you watch the fight on 1.25x speed, then it looks normal. Somehow Joyce's slowazz hammer hands gets the job done but Wallisch was pretty garbage as expected. Really fancy Dubois more than ever to beat Joyce - too explosive and Joyce surely can't defend Dubois power with his face.

Can't be taking right hands from Dubois as regularly however hard that head is.

Frank Warren must have had a massive sigh of relief after this 'high risk' fight was over.

Who knows, even old dude from Ghana landed some really big shots on DDD. Joyce still very dangerous for DDD.

You build towards big fights in boxing, what is your problem? Joe Joyce just wanted to get some work in before, he faces Danial Dubios etc

Oh let me guess, another UFC idol worshiper ?

                  Joy Joyce - SLOW!

Joe Joyce's punches were as slow as erosion.

                  Damn.

I saw some reactions from Dubois after being hit to the body and head by Lartey which were a little concerning. I don't know how big a puncher Lartey is, but when Dubois got hit, he definitely showed he was hurt. Joyce in his last fight, showed me a bit more head movement, a better defence and good body work, but he started too slow and took some right hands early. He seems to be working on his defence, sort of like Jarret Hurd. But Dubois is always so quick out the gate that Joyce must be ready for the onslaught and keep Dubois on the back foot. I think Joyce may be able to weather the early storm and work Dubois body. if he is able to do that, he can win but he can't allow Dubois any combinations.
