Race or nationality does not make you superior, hard work and your dedication to your craft makes you superior..There is no race and nationality in a foxhole. it is just a human being trying to survive the best way they know how.I support talent and athletes who rise tot he top and overcome huge challenges. I can not respect athletes who do not work and make a mockery of their sports.. As a coach I preach hard work and focus, so I expect any top level athlete to have that ingrained in their bones.
No offense to anyone but in my experience the worst offenders of this happen to be white. They have the audacity to try to shame ppl for cheering for fighters of the same nationality or culture but they’re always the ones blatantly supporting Loma, GGG and Fury and hating on Floyd, Canelo and Wilder etc. That’s the only thing that irritates TF out of me is a white person trying to say we are racist for supporting our own fighters first! But not all whites of course just the idiots

If it does then you're a Bigot Piece of Sh^t and this sport doesn't need people like you using fighters as some sort of symbolism or the face of your ignorant Agenda

Then again I mean lets be fair Boxing was BUILT on Racism!

The First Super Fight/Mega Fight in Boxing History was ALL ABOUT RACE!

Absolutely not. Also, I would argue anyone that does really needs to do some soul searching lol.

This country was built on racism. There's no aspect of the country where race doesn't play a factor. Some people don't like hearing that but just imagine those that have to bear the brunt of it, daily.

But I agree with your opinion.

Race still matters. For me, tho, there must also be two other things: be highly skilled and have a good in ring personality and finesse (special effects). For example, if Davis fought Loma, I'd definitely root for Gervonta. If Loma fought Easter, let's say, I'd root for Loma (I can relate to his skills more).

I know the politically correct BS thing to say is it doesn't matter, but it does, deep down. This boxing chatboard is an example.

I'm fine if people are pushing Loma on race, his in ring special effects, and other reasons, like pride. We all want our people to succeed. If two boxers I don't know are fighting, I don't give a crap about race. Can't explain.

              If that's called racism, I'm a racist.

The biggest racist in Boxing are white people from Britain. It is common for non white boxers to face racism in Britain. They just have to deal with it.

Kid Galahad was robbed against Josh Warrington. Another fight was when Kash Farooq was robbed agains Lee Mcgregor. The outcome of that fight would have been very different if Kash was white not Pakistani.

Many African/Caribbean fighters face racism examples: Anthony Joshua, Chris Eubank and David Haye. Also

Middle Eastern fighters: Naseem Hamed and Kid Galahad. Read some of the comments on Barrera-Hamed fight on YouTube. You will understand exactly what I am talking about.

Also South Asian fighters: Amir Khan. We all know that most white british guys hate Khan for his race and religion. I could find many examples from this webiste.

Over the last 2 decades, I have been seeing some of this, as well.
