Donaire is on his last legs.

Payano is a solid guy who most of the time loses to the big names.

Emmanuel Rodriguez biggest claim to fame is that he beat Paul Butler and Jason Moloney. That's about it.

If Inoue keeps fighting that level of opposition he can go unbeaten. But I don't know that it proves greatness.

Interesting Rigo has gone to 118 to fight Inoue, will Arum let them fight?

Didn't Arum say that about Loma? I think it's a hard road to make a non-US/non-hispanic country boxer a huge star in the US. Respect to guys like Manny & GGG who've been the most successful at overcoming the hurdles to US fame, but it takes more than talent to get there.

If I was betting on any foreign guy to become a US star it'd be Usyk. Mfer can fight & has a fun personality that's highly sellable with the right push behind him. Idk that Eddie can make do the job is the only thing & idk if he will even push Usyk that well to US fans for Usyk to become the star he could here.

And who exactly do you want him to fight? The only other person at 118 is Casimero who he was already scheduled to fight before this corona ****. Nery can't make 118 so who else can he fight at 118.

Payano had only lost once before the Inoue fight how you can say he loses to the big names you can't count the Nery fight that was after Inoue starched him in 1 rd something nobody had done before so at that point that was a solid opponent former champion who had dethroned the last kingpin at 118 in Chemito Moreno.

Same with Rodriguez regardless of what you think about Butler and Moloney, Butler worked his way up to a title fight after losing and came in way overweight yet Rodriguez still beat him up on his own turf to win the belt. He had a close fight with Moloney but those brothers are actually pretty good and he was undefeated as well so when he faced Inoue he was an undefeated champion and Inoue demolished him also. It's one thing to knockout journeymen but when you are beating former and current champs in that fashion it says something man. I don't think there is anyone at 118 that punches harder than Donaire regardless of his age so the fact he took those punches showed me he is durable especially after sustaining those injuries and still fighting all 12.

I'm not saying he's an all time great he is still very young but the way he has been going shows he is special. Narvaez, Rodriguez, Payano and McDonnell are all champs who had never been knocked out and he did it to all of them in 6 rounds combined.

Narvaez is anothet old man like Donaire.

I would want Inoue to beat a young, prime elite. Someone like Gallo Estrada, Nery, or Navarrete. That would show me something.

Estrada is a 115 lber, Navarette a 122 who is going up to 126 most likely after this corona and Narvaez had still never been stopped doesn't matter his age Inoue ran through him.

Nery can't make 118 he's failed so many times no point in even wishing for it. The Casimero fight is a soild match up that will be another good win for him.

                Narvaez is way past done.

I know what weight those others fight at. I mentioned them because they are true elite talents who are either right below or right above his weight class.

If he wants to be considered #1 P4P those are the types of fighters he needs to be beating.

                  Define "huge star"

Hes obviously already got a following in his homeland and among hardcore boxing fans, but its unlikely hes going to be a PPV attraction or a guy that casuals know about.

Who have Navarette and Nery fought that makes them more elite than Inoue.

The Narvaez fight was 6 years ago man he may be way past done now but at that point he was still in contention.
