    Floyd Mayweather and Corey Spinks
Another pointless matchup that surely stinks
Its the big money matchup some folks will say
49.95 youd be a fool to pay
That kinda cash to see Corey the Corny Clown
A man with feathers of fist get thouroughly beaten down
Kevin Cunningham screams "corey youre gettin wrecked"
"**** im a 6 round fighta, what da **** ya expect?"
Spinks is goin down sometime, maybe minus a tooth
But that still dont prove Mayweathers the truth
So keep your money in your pocket, im tellin you son
If you're lookin for a fight, this aint the one!

Floyd looked to the wind with a grin in his eye
and said if he had to move up, he'd surely die
so many pounds from the place of his home
that he could be a British bank with savings and loan

So if he must move up, he thought to himself,
If he must move up to preserve his wealth,
With health in mind, and safety the first
He'd fight a man who back at the birth
of his boxing career so many years gone
was fighting in weight from which Floyd had been spawned

So with a nod of his head, he signed the deal
The fans were the ones, who his haste would feel
For his fight would be against a man with a belt
A title was his at a weight Floyd hadn't felt
Yet the only reason he inked his name
was for when Oscar de la Hoya
        came back to the game.

completely against it.. this fight is about as meaningless as any of his last seven, it's the easist opponent possible for him and he's getting 0 credit from me for it if this is it for Nov. 4

You don't get credit for chasing belts.. you get credit for chasing competition. (i.e. Wright, Pacquiao, Barrera, and other deserving P4P fighters)

If this was elementary school, i'd make Floyd stay after and write this on the chalkboard like 1,000 times over..

Spinks is a decent fighter.. but NO WHERE near Mayweather's calibur as far as boxing is concerned.

It's a cheap way out of this year as far as i'm concerned for Floyd.

              ok listen people

cory spinks is a top 3 super-welterweight , a former undisputed welterweight champion , also it gives him a belt , so when he has the oscar fight its a unification fight come on people

If the belt really matters that much.. then you're happy about this matchup for all the wrong reasons (and you'd be happy about it as a 'Floyd' fan if this is the excuse)

spinks is NOT a 'top 3 super-welterweight'.. that goes to Ouma, Mosley, and De La Hoya (or even a couple other foreigners in the division that you've probably not heard of (yet))

Spinks has a belt... fine.. but, i'm sorry, the bottomline is it shouldn't be "credit-deserving" whatsoever

OG Loc is better than Ouma, you have to at least give him that.
