Floyd VS Duran and Leonard good fights

Duran would be harder for Floyd, but he has a shot to win against both

Much better matchup than Floyd Hearns. A freakishly huge natural welter VS man in his 4th weight class

I don’t remember the round. It was before the fifth, I believe. When I say “hurt,?I don’t mean Leonard was terribly rocked or something to that effect. But Ray was visibly hurt. He took a good shot from one of the biggest ****ers in welterweight history, and it showed. Leonard of course took it well.

Your points are well taken, but I maintain that the weight issue affected Hearns in the championship rounds, as Gil Clancy also pointed out. Tommy was crushing everyone else in much earlier rounds. It came back to bite him versus a prime Leonard. Hearns was a beanpole at 147. Going a couple of pounds under would definitely have an adverse effect against a legendary opponent.
these two fighters would always be competitive no matter when they boxed and it was proven when they rematched 8 years later when both fighters were past there prime.
As welterweight hearns was a physical monster with a reach of 78 inches and 6ft 1 and half , he was a freak and it was that frame that produced such concussive power.
A welterweight hearns is a very difficult fighter to beat and starches almost any welterweight in history.
Leonard and Robinson are just slightly better and one department which hearns lacked was knowing when to box and knowing when to go toe2toe and we saw that as he went to middleweight and above with hagler and Barkley

Leonard stops him around the 10th round
SRL was 36-3-1 w/ 25 KOs so he was far from a powerhouse.

And Floyd is one of the only fighters in this generation that COULD go 15 rounds and longer fights BENEFIT Floyd.

Floyd has been hurt no more than a handful of times in his career and never had an official KD..but SRL who scores a KO 66% of the time is gonna crack that code? Not convinced.

Cant call it, but ain't neither guy getting stopped. That much I know

Leonard had excellent power. What made him dangerous, among other things, is that he had blazing fast hands, threw great combinations and had a finely honed killer instinct. Ray would rock you, pile up the punishment and finish. Simple as that. Don’t pay much mind to the KO percentage, as Leonard fought several ATGs and fought well past his best days, coming back from a couple of long hiatuses.

Read this in the morning, 1st thought Leonard would win a close decision. Spent the day watching both them fighting and iv changed my mind Leonard would batter Floyd senseless

The decent names Floyd fought they were past prime, drained or smaller. It's hard to see how Floyd would beat prime srl.
Srl beat greatest middleweight of all time.

I’d go with leonard, he has the speed size power skills and stamina combination floyd has never seen before. He has fought prime atgs himself and handled them. While floyd doesn’t have a single prime atg on his resume.
If prime Floyd had trouble with judah for the first 5 Rounds then he certainly will have trouble with leonard the entire 12.

If this is fight is pound for pound fantasy then floyd wins, as that takes away leonards advantage in size and power..but their real welter versions? The advantage goes to leonard.

Leonard would be a MUCH tougher fight than Duran (albeit still a very winnable one for Floyd.) Duran would be one of the easiest championship fights of Mayweather's career.

how so Floyd toughest fights were against pressure guys who can box if need be

                      Duran fits that profile
