Sugar Ray Leonard’s funeral is going to be a giant event that is going to be attended by thousands.

Mayweathers funeral is going to be a bunch of people going through the motions while all his girlfriends try to not pull the wigs off each others heads. Crickets can be heard when the priest asks if anyone has anything they want to say. Whose name will be in the will? Who can act their way through this and come off as deserving? A hero emerges in an orange jumpsuit, shackles and purple hair. Tis Mayweathers strung out daughter who was granted a day pass for this moment.
“First of all, you all ain’t shiii. That purse jacket is mines and imma cut the first beech who tries somethin. Catch me outside. How bout dah”

What about SRL refusing to fight Hagler in his prime then jumping at the chance to fight him once he had two absolute wars that took a lot out of him, then not doing the rematch. Every time Mayweather had a close fight he had a rematch and completely dominated (only twice in his career). I’m a huge fan of SRL as well but mentally and skill wise he wasn’t as great as TBE. Ray came along in a better era, and he’s more popular because he played up the “good guy” image, but the reality is that Floyd is the greater fighter.
Sugar Ray, a natural ww, stalled out, a middleweight, and not just any old middleweight, a top level, all time great switch hitting beast of a boxer-punching mw, arguably THE best at mw ever, who barely been wobbled in a fight and was slightly past his prime. He had good reason to stall. (Floyd, so proclaimed TBE, wouldn't even entertain fighting a mediocre beltholder at middleweight. He was too small for GGG even though GGG was willing to drop down to 154 remember? In describing GGG though, Floyd was quick to point out GGG was straight up and down, with no special effects, but I think he was either retired or on vacation when he said it.)

Compare that to Floyd for whatever excuse is clever, didn't get to the best guys in his own division until they were already sparked out and raked thru the coals (Cotto, Shane, Manny). Then he absolutely ducked out of the ww division when guys like Margarito and Williams were calling him out. Margarito was literally stalking him at the mall, at the casino, basketball games, etc. Oops he had to go on a 2 year vacation. Again, guys in his own division he had so many problems making the fights. Floyd did not rematch Oscar, in his split decision victory. He retired and welched on the agreement.

Leonard is obviously taller man with bigger reach. Leonard was a welterweight while he was in his prime, while Mayweather moved ro welterweight later in his past prime years.

I say prime Leonard would be too much for welterweight Mayweather.

You ignored everything I posted and came up with this nonsensical mumbo-jumbo in a desperate attempt to deflect away from the fact that I just posted circles around you. Floyd won belts in 5 different divisions and you’re saying that’s not enough. I guess you wanted him to go up to Heavyweight and fight Tyson Fury too huh? 😂😂😂

Greatest defensive fighter in history, beat the most world champions, undefeated for the longest, most watched boxer in history, the smartest - I could go on and on and you trolls make yourself look so foolish by trying to discredit him when hes beat a who’s who of legends and great fighters over a 20 year career. Mosley and Pacquiao both ducked him in his prime and only took the fight once they were desperate and needed to cash out. De La Hoya fight was not close (it was 8-4 at best and ODLH didn’t want it). Bumgacheato? You mean the guy that almost got killed in the ring by Mosley who Floyd beat up straight after? LOL you got me crying over here. Do yourself a favour and log out for the day. 😫😂

You can go on and on until the break of dawn, but the reality still will be, the best prime guys on Floyds resume, Corrales, Hatton, and Alvarez, don't move many to suggest he'd beat a prime Sugar Ray, this fantasy matchup has been beaten to death, and the majority still say Sugar Ray. It don't matter how many slow, flat footed short armed paper champs Floyd went through.

All true, but another issue is SRL is in many peoples top 10 ATG.
I don't think floyd breaks into most peoples top 20 ATG. If floyd has made anyone's top 20, floyd has did well

He has done well. The problem comes in when his fanboys overrate things.

Well put. Both were huge stars in their time. I figure a decision also. I can see SRL being more offensive getting the nod. If Floyd was to get the nod he’d have to stymie SRL to the point SRL looked “bad” in comparison. I’ve said I’d prolly never bet against Floyd, but I mean in a real close fight, SRL had the stroke, popularity, and ability to shoe shine a victory. SRL’s showmanship in the ring could be the difference. I mean if Floyd won fights that shoulda been a loss or a draw I think SRL woulda had that advantage over Floyd. So I haven’t said anything really. If Floyd wins six rounds he loses. Personally I’d like to see Floyd vs Hawk Time.

Good match. Floyd will have to dig deep against Pryor.

Unconventional educated pressure fighters push Floyd

Agreed. Underdog like Pryor could have a very even round vs Floyd but it could look like a good round for him and a bad one for Floyd. Pryor could be on him like a dirty shirt. If it looks more like a Pryor fight than a Floyd fight that’s worth sum credit. I know Floyd’s strong against the ropes. But just like u said Pryor was an unconventional pressure fighter, afraid of nothing. If I thought Floyd was ever going to lose it would be for running out of time. Pryor start strong and finish strong. I mean I’m sure sum would like to see Alexis vs Floyd for sum perspective.
