Comments Thread For: Adrien Broner: I'll Stop Devin Haney, Tell Hearn To Put Up Money

Adrien Broner has not scored a win since 2017, but his confidence still remains in championship form. The 30-year-old Broner (33-4-1, 24 KOs), a four-division crown holder who last fought as a welterweight in a one-sided loss to Manny Pacquiao over a year ago, is adamant that he can drop back down to 135 and defeat one of the fastest rising stars in the sport in Devin Haney (24-0, 15 KOs).

I can easily see an intoxicated Broner begging for pennies on some street a few years from now.

I think many of us been saying that since 2015
Mofo still gets the fights and the money
That’s about the only thing he does extremely well lol
I think Haney would destroy him
I know Haney ain’t proven but with his speed and boxing skills , I just can’t AB coming close to victory

I was wondering how long it was going to be before AB came out begging for money with all his recent troubles
It’s his playbook , every time he gets into trouble , he’s out there calling someone out
            Gotta pay those lawyers

This clown Broner is the new Amir Khan. Thinks he's relevant and worthy of a superstar PPV when he gets beaten every other fight. Tell you what AB why don't you focus on getting by a few weeks without breaking the law and then maybe a comeback fight against some garbage cans the way everyone else does. Devin Haney would embarrass you the same way your other half dozen conquerers did. Toolshed

... last time Broner fought at 135 was back in Feb 2013, vs Gavin Rees... well, OK then...

If Mr. Haney is serious about taking his son to 140, instead of waiting for Ryan Garcia, Lomachenko, or Tank @ 135, then Broner would be a nice test at the weight. Problem is, you can't trust AB to take life seriously!

Broner doesn't deserves a pay day or a shot.

Has continued to disappoint, doesn't put on a shot, only looks to survive and collect a pay day.

Maidana destroyed this kid and he has never been the same since. Took his soul.
