I would pick Canelo over him, the guy has had everything laid out for him. Even the Floyd blunder was a calculated risk for big cash and Canelo took minimal damage and only got better.

Floyd. Floyd actually focused more on managing his career than he did on actually beating fighters up, which is why he incorporated a run and hug and potshot style. As long as he could manage his career to market himself as “TBE”, which is complete BS anyway.

He ducked fighters in their prime, made extravagant requests for his opponents, never fought out of Vegas, and he rarely ever engaged with his opponent, etc. He carefully managed his career appropriately and played it safe. Great job.

Manny arguably had a rough management team. He made several big mistakes managing his career. He never needed to fight Marquez a 4th time. He shouldn’t have let Arum swindle him all those years. He should’ve never fought Horn in Australia where Manny was incredibly robbed. He should’ve never made that gay person comment to whatever reporters.

What makes Manny so amazing is that even after some big bumps in the road, he still came back dominantly and is top of the food chain in boxing. He persevered throughout the years and always came back from and conquered adversity.
