    Im Not Impressed with Valero

I just downloaded Magicjordan's video of him and to me he looked very flawed. He is basically another version of Pac. I hate watching one demensional Southpaws who just throw there left hand over & over & over again, e****ally when it comes from a ****ty angle. He doesnt seem to have any kind of boxing skill at all. Pac has alot of speed and throws good combos. Valero just seems like a one punch at a time stalker.

I kind of liked the guys JMM fought last night. All he did was throw his left also but it was very techniqal. Valero has one of those ****ty lefts that come from the waiste and is extremely low. A good fighter would eat that **** up with a straight right that would clean his clock. Thats what the guy did last night and thats what some others have done to him but they dont have the power or skills to hurt him.

His chin stays wide open. Will he be a good fighter? Probally but nothing special and he's really only going to be good because he is a lefty and most guys have hard times fighting them because you cant see there **** coming.

If he fights Rocky or MAB right now he would get his ass whooped. He is sloppy, has bad footwork, stays offbalance, keeps his chin up, and throws low wide shots. Atleast Pac throws his **** straight.

Again, its hard to judge from one look but that **** was a bad look and he just seems like a gunner to me with extremly bad technique. I think a great fight right now would be him vs Barrios

Watch his sparring sessions on youtube.com to see what he really can do. He absolutly HAD to win his fights in 1 rd, thats why he look like a windmill. The sparring session vs Antillon is as one sided as it can be. He later sparred with him again and knock him out from what I heard. The first sessions were more competitive.

Dude got paid 100,000 dollar bonuses to KO guys in the first round; that's why he looked like a one-dimensional windmill. He certainly didn't look one-dimensional when he handed Morales - a week before he beat Pac - his head in the gym though.

Sparring is sparring. Even if there is a lot of competetiveness in sparring, u can't compare it to a a real boxing fight. In sparring, fighters wear head gear and heavier gloves(correct me if i am wrong on this one), and more controlled, such as how can a fighter take a beating(if he does) from a sparring partner.

Why does Valero absolutely had to win his fights in the 1st round? Doesn't every or most fighter want to win in the 1st round.

Most of Valero's win are either in the 1st or 2nd round. His first true test was against Mosquera. Wasn't he knockdown too by Mosquera in the 3rd round. Mosquera might be a top 5 fighter but he hasn't face any good fighter since becoming a world champion.

I am not bashing on Valero, but he still needs to work on his weaknesses.

That would explain alot.I hope somebody has his Panama fight, the only real worrisome thing about valero,is that by the sounds of it,he was fighting with his mouth open after like the 3rd round.

Other than that,he'll be in a lot of fun fights,he fights like how power punchers should fight, throw alot of ****ing punches.

I don't find it alarming. In fact it looks to me as if Valero won't stop until he drops dead. Even if he was really fatigued in the middle rounds, he rallied to KO / TKO Mosquera in his backyard with, still, big explosive punches. I think he has big heart.

His style may be flawed but you've got to be impresssed with the guy who kayoed all his 20 opponets, 18 of which is in the first round.

I picked up Mosquerra to win because I was thinking that he would fight a smart fight but it turned out otherwise. He chose to slug it out with the guy who loves to finish off opponents in the first round thus the result.

If Mosquerra wasn't KD and hurt twice in the first round he could have given Valero a tougher competition in the later part of the match.
