If wilder wants to use that narrative to promote a rematch then fair enough - but there was nobody arguing as it happened. Infact the fact the towel came in at the same time as the referee was stopping the fight tells you both were thinking in tandem.

It wasn’t just a case of where wilder was being hit (and still a minute left) of that round - but how could he win? He literally had nothing left, he was wobbling around by then and his punches were non existent and a fraction of the power he can usually have.

He’s far better starting off from a refresh for a rematch
