Here's a question, would it be worthwhile discussing this if it wasn't a Charlo?
    To answer your question, no.

I would feel the same way if it wasnt Charlo. I'm not a fan of either Charlo brother, so for me, I have no bias for or against them.

And for you to bring up IV bags et al. is a strawman argument.

I'm bringing it up because there's an IV bag thread once a month and the fight was six years ago.

Well your right in Cali I guess their still in stone age and only accept water. In Nevada and Penn and most others Gatorade and the like are accepted and have been for awile.

You very well might be right. I know its been accepted in Nevada and Penn and others for quite awile now. I guess Cali and maybe WBC are still in stone age.

But yes, while I was unaware of any specific rule changing, I have noticed soooo many Gatorade bottles in corners over the last few yrs that it was pretty much a certainty that things are changed
It is accepted in Nevada and most other places and has been for awile. I was wrong though I guess Cali is still in stone age and still only uses water. Its really a non story anyways as almost rest of country lets you use those kind of drinks. People are trying to make it out to be Pryor v AA where he says "No the one I mixed", but as we have learned P Lewis was putting asthma pills in his fighters water. That all came out when Reyes admitted not only was his gloves tampered with in the Collins fight, but he was also crushing pills into water bottle. Also both were tested right after bout.

Good find. To me its still a non story because it is used almost everywhere now, and even with WBC its accepted with a TUE without your opponents permission unlike some blood clotting meds , but I was wrong about Cali and did not know about WBC. I'm pretty sure the other 3 allow it also.
