Comments Thread For: Ugas-Dallas FS1 Main Event Peaked At 355,000 Viewers

Yordenis Ugas was a huge favorite to beat Mike Dallas Jr., but FS1's telecast of their main event Saturday night drew the cable network's highest rating for boxing in five months. Nielsen Media Research figures released Tuesday noted that a peak audience of 355,000 watched the Ugas-Dallas fight. That four-fight show, headlined by Ugas' technical knockout of Dallas after the seventh round, drew an average viewership of 324,000.

That's damn good for Ugas on FS1. That fight wasn't really promoted either.

That's pretty good for a FS1 card with no names on it.

        Ugas is a semi-draw.

Terence Crawford should fight him or Shawn Porter.

PBC fans on PBC trash numbers: wow that's good for a network no one watches.

Sorry folks but that ain’t good numbers for a PBC show. That’s just about 300k more than watch a dazn big fight card. Pbc on FS1 should be doing no less than 600k card average. Not sure why the PBC heads insist on putting lesser known names as main events. That main event should have been an undercard on a showtime/FS1/FOX 3-4 fight card. Also, I wish PBC would bring back ToeToToe Tuesdays and have boxing on every Tuesday night like back in the 80s and 90s with USA Network

Sad, very sad numbers. I think they just weren't promoted that right way.
