Lou DiBella "Al Haymon Fired Me From PBC For Trying To Get Wilder The AJ Fight"

Lou DiBella who use to promote most if not all of Deontay Wilders previous fights with PBC confirmed in multiple interviews today that Deontay Wilder was told by Al Haymon to fire him because he set up the meeting with Deontay Wilder and DAZN who offered Wilder a massive lucrative $120 million deal to fight AJ.

He mentions he found it very strange that he got fired for getting Wilder a career high payday for the AJ fight which Wilder, Shelly Finkle and Haymon claim to be trying to make anyway.

If it wasn't already blatantly obvious, now even the Wilder fan squad can't deny team Wilder had no intention of fighting AJ.. They immediately fired the person who made efforts to make the fight.

Sounds like he was acting above his pay grade more than anything else to me.

He was Wilders promoter.. The job of a promoter is to get thier fighter the fight they want for most the money. He delivered both and got fired for it.

I thought Wilder, Finkle and Al wanted the AJ fight?? Firing the guy that got you a offer for the fight you so call want says otherwise.

I took what he said from a combination of interviews from TBV, IFL, boxing social and fight interviews.

No it's not. A promoters job is to put together & promote fights. A managers job is more along the lines of getting a fighter the most money for the fights he wants. Lou was acting above his pay grade here. Shelley & Al should be negotiating with DAZN not Lou. From my understanding Lou had no real promotional rights to Wilder. It was just a fight by fight agreement & thats why he was so easily fired.
