I didn’t realize I was “blaming Mayweather” lol. I was just talking about how the drug testing was perceived at the time. I mean, I suppose you could blame mayweather for introducing it in the first place...he’d never asked anyone else and it wasn’t something that was required by the commission. Didn’t maywether also change the money as well...and from what I recall, he didn’t even introduce the drug testing until late into the negotiation. Both Floyd and arum were a little too content with the fight not happening imo...it could have been done. Arum figured he could keep cashing in off pac with in house fights, which he did, and I don’t believe mayweather really wanted the fight at that time. It’s history anyway...and arguing about it now is pretty useless.
