Funny, I barely notice bad posters. I scan posts, and if they’re nonsense, I just move on. Their names don’t stay with me. The guys I remember more often are the good posters, because I actually take time to read their posts. There are a lot more important things than worrying about the ****** opinions of people on the Internet.

Caucasian as it remains in use in the US is understood to refer to the pale complexioned majority indigenous inhabitants of North Western Europe or their descendents. The term is completely rooted in the racist pseudo-science of the 19th and early 20th Century and is besides very poorly defined and loosely used, although it would not in common US usage be used to refer to most inhabitants of the Levant (*********) or North Africa (Egypt).
Caucasoid is a hangover term from the field of biological anthropology which divided humanity into 3 major categories based on pretty flimsy and poorly defined phenotypic evidence (physiognomy and skin tone primarily) which is now understood to have little or no scientific grounding or bearing in actual genetic relatedness and is no longer used by the vast majority of the scientific community. When it was in use the category included a variety of non-European populations, (possibly to conform with the socio-political and religious beliefs of the time) including the Levant and North Africa and largely conforming with the areas in which the so-called Indo-European languages were prevalent (extending as far as the Horn of Africa and the Indian sub-continent).
It's now generally accepted that the term Caucasian should only be properly used to refer to the peoples of the Caucasus region... oh... and that we're all essentially the same regardless of such trivia as our melanin levels or the shape of our heads and facial features.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 12-24-2019, 04:55 PM.
