Gvozdyk is a very good boxer, but there was always this cloud of vulnerability around him. He always looked like he could get KOed in a a fight. It's never as bad as it is with Khan. But he just wasn't sturdy enough.

I feel Bivol might face the same fate against Beterbiev. He's a better boxer, but I question if he can keep up with pace. I'd still pick Bivol in that one, but it's a lot closer now after seeing their recent fights.

It just demonstrates the obvious that Bob Harem was screwing over Beterbieve by selling him out to the judges.

The fact that Gvoz was ahead on the cards shows how fixed it was especially since there was like 3 kds wrongfully ruled slips & 1 was overturned merely because Teddy Fatlass was crying about his fighter rightfully being ruled to have been kd early on.

After Fatlass started losing his mind(as I predicted before the fight;I said" he sux & would be why gvoz goes nowhere further in boxing")he literally started crying to the commissioner to overrule the ref & the ref proceeded to try cheating for gvoz by ruling several kds as slips, when it was clear gvoz didn't even want to continue getting clobbered after like rd 8 & not only did the ref do this but he also let gvoz continue after he was clearly looking for a way to end the punishment & hypocrite teddy didn't stop the fight despite his fighter getting destroyed into submission,& despite Fatlas shtting on other trainers & refs for not stopping fights.

Bottom line is that gvoz being ahead on the cards is as much of a robbery as it gets & according to the corrupt ref the only kds occurred in the last rd which is by far a far bigger travesty than the countless other close or semi close fights fanbois cry robbery about.

February. China. Fanlong Meng. Decent southpaw LHW but hasn't proven too much yet.

Arum calling the ****** from the Caucasus a "beast." Don't hide your true feelings Bob. The deck was clearly stacked against Beterbiev. The ref wouldn't even let Beterbiev work on the inside, and kept warning him for things that weren't his fault.

The fight was close for 4 rounds. After that I didn’t give Gyvozdyk a round.

I thought Gvozdyk won maybe 3 rounds, Beterbiev was in control the whole time and landing the better shots

No... It was looking like a UD win even if he didn't knock down or knock out Gvozdyk.

Reading Bob say this almost makes me wish the fight had gone to a decision to see if the robbery crowd would come out in force as it would if this were a pbc fight.

There is no way Gvodzyk was winning this fight. I think I was next to Gvozdyk’s wife and mother and their cards both had Bieterbiev up at the time of the top.

Yep...It was right after the bell ending the 4th that I saw all life drain away from The Nail. I still can’t believe Teddy sent him out for that 10th round.

Even if Gvozdyk was ahead... and he obviously was gong into round 9... the fight had clearly turned. Had Gvozdyk not been stopped, Beterbiev was landing with so much authority that a knock down was inevitable, and Beterbiev would have swept the later rounds. I did not try and keep score, I just enjoyed the fight. I do have to say I really liked the game plan for Gvozdyk. It was the right way to fight Beterbiev, in spurts and working both upstairs and to the body. It is just that Beterbiev was not having it. He did not respect Gvozdyk's power, and was getting his distance dialed in. Beterbiev was going to win that fight by KO or UD.

Hoping for Beterbiev against Bivol next year. What a war. Do hope Gvozdyk gets more prime time fights. He is enjoyable and active.
