Because some people...people like you can’t separate fight talk from real life murder.

I don't "support" it, but I've also learned not to get worked up about what boxers say. They're not in this biz for their brains. Have you seen some of the stuff Fury says? Boxers generally aren't smart men. Couple this with the fact that they gotta create heat to sell fights, dumb stuff will be said.

Put your big boy pants on and get over it. You're watching dudes punch each other in the face.

He says these things to create buzz and he's been on record saying that it's just hyperbole but I gotta say, a man with his devastating power might wanna think twice about saying things like that.

This is boxing, not soccer. Everybody knows the risks involved with a backyard unsanctioned fight let alone a professional contest where you sign the "In Case Of Death" waiver long before you step in the ring. One of the last true gladiator sports left in a world that clearly has gone softer than a jar of banana baby f,ood. If you want to mention Adonis Stevenson, Patrick Day, and Maxim Dadashev, you need to mention the fighters that have no choice but to box as a living. The Losers, who have 20-23 or 20-50 records who time after time get in the ring because it's a check to collect. Deontay Wilders ego wants him to be feared as a viscious puncher. He has shown he can punch, but can that punch make him the undisputed heavyweight champion. Should he be able to put a body on his record, who knows the psychological affect that is going to have on him as a fighter. Mike Perez was never the same after the Magomed Abdusalamov fight. Sergey Kovalev had an opponent die after a contest and he never lost a wink of sleep. He kept on his rise to a world title. Now he is going into the biggest money fight of his life. Because you do not like what was said you still made a post about it and brought more attention to Deontay Wilder and his words. Making polarizing comments in boxing is nothing new, and a lot of the time comments are made in poor taste. But you remember who made those comments and you are going to watch to see them lose or to see them win if you agree with them. I personally like and put my support behind Deontay Wilder. It was like he came out of nowhere to make the Olympics when Adam Willet was the number 1 heavyweight in the country for the past 2 years before then. He said what he said. We will see how he backs it up.

I tend to agree with you
Imagine what kind of chit would happen if he really took a body in the ring

Thanks for the essay but what’s your point? You haven’t justified anything other than say that there is a risk of dying in boxing. Then again, you probably are from USA which is probably the most backwards country in the world.

Who supports it? Boxer have always talked about killing and what not inside the ring, it's boxing rhetoric to hype up fights, nothing more.

It's in there. You just need to read a little more and understand an over elaborated way of saying who gives a f***.
