Canelo doesn’t have to fight anyone at LH not even the 27th ranked guy

The fact he is going up two divisions without a catch weight is blowing my mind I can’t even hate. Kovalev is still a killer he came back and avenged his KO loss and just delt with England’s hottest prospect with a KO jab.

This is a really dangerous fight for canelo there is weight classes for a reason we’ve seen how dumb Mikey looked already and Kovalev has the power of a damn hw! Canelo is stepping into dangerous waters regardless of his speed advantage it just takes one shot and he can be out cold this man Kovalev has killed people in the ring, knocked out killers, and even put Andre ward down.. canelo might be biting off more than he can chew and like I said can’t even hate on him for this I really can’t wait.

It's good Canelo is not asking for any type of catchweight or 2nd weigh in and that's the way it should be done. Hearns moved up from 160 to beat light heavyweight champ Virgil Hill and **** Tiger went from 160 to 175 to beat light heavyweight champ Jose Torres so it has been done before. Kovalev did have an opponent die but not more than one. He certainly is a threat to KO the iron jawed Canelo.

he had a rehydration clause against rocky fielding but hes not going to against kovalev? lets wait till all the info comes out. im sure they dont want to announce that up front and make canelo look like a coward again

If he asked Jacobs for a rehydration clause I don't believe he wouldn't ask that from Kovalev

We will just have to wait and see but I would be surprised if there are no catchweight or 2nd weigh in or both

Context is everything. Jacobs can rehydrate more than Canelo. That was for 160. That means that Canelo acknowledges a deficiency hitting 160 on the scales regardless if both men rehydrate. Now Canelo is fighting at 175, literally a shift in camp not needing to calculate the water loss. That doesn’t necessarily mean at all that Canelo will go in bigger like a LHW would and “drain” to make 175. That’s where many fans are confused.

Mikey Garcia’s X factor was because he didn’t drain like a Welterweight would. That feel good stay ready stamina counts as a plus going against a Beast who drained for 147.

Do you LDBC guys get it?

This is also the way I view it .
The people with the whole " Kovalev got exposed . Canelo will KO him with a body shot " excuses show their Hate for Canelo .
They hate the guy but still hold him to such a high standard that a killer like Kovalev is a cherry pick ?

Let's change this up. If Andre Ward had lost three of his last eight fights, two by stoppage and only a couple of punches away from being knocked out again in his last fight people would be saying he's on the decline. That's a valid point of view. Being objective about Kovalev's present abilities is nothing to get upset over.
